archeo-Lego-ical

carefully uncovering Legoical history

As i looked over the dirt patch I noticed something plastic sticking out of the dirt. When I took a closer look i couldn’t belive my eyes. It looked to be a lego. I could tell it was in there for a long time. I tried to pick it out with my fingers but it was embedded too deep. Then i wondered, was this the remains of an ancient civilization? Was this ruins of a lost city of legos?

I was about to embark on what could be the archeological find of our time. I went to the house for the proper tools and camera so I could document the excavation.

I began to brush away the loose dirt around the top of the lego. I then used a special brush with a pointed end, to carefully remove as much dirt as possible from around the lego. I had to be carefull not to harm the artifact. It is crucial to perserve as much of the artifact as possible. Archeological digs can take weeks to months of patients. But me and kitty had like 20 minutes before the sun went down. And other cats kick the crap out of her at night, so i had to work fast.
