even more bonusier zombie tuesday post!

This one’s goin’ out to my peeps.

First off, from the ever intrepid and CBC-obsessed kulrblind, comes word of his peep briannak heading out to something called the MP3 Experiment.

Today I went to an awesome experimental theatre event. This group called Improv Everywhere stages interesting “missions” throughout NY — I heard of them via This American Life which included them on a show. The event today was called “the mp3 Experiment.” Everyone went to the Improv Everywhere web site and downloaded a 30min long mp3 then loaded it onto a portable music player (aka ipod in most cases). The website instructed us to meet at Sheep’s Meadow in Central Park at 3pm. A man with a megaphone gave a signal and everyone turned on their ipods at the same time… and then we started receiving instructions. It was so neat to see everyone moving in unison and I think it must have felt awfully fun for the people just hanging out at the park to have entertainment sprung on them! Over the course of the 30mins we did some dancing, zombie walked across the park, split into 4 distinct groups and engaged in an elaborate game of rock paper sissors!

See? Zombie-walking!

And then, from her supreme Sassiness, Sassyk, comes proof that the coming zombie apocalypse is nigher than I thought.
