The old one -- fond childhood memories notwithstanding -- was filled to the brim with 70s cheese. The new one is SOOOOOOOOOO much better. It's like they took a bare outline, a rough pencil drawing, and took that outline to make an oil painting masterpiece. I can't really go into details though, as my immediate memories of the new one are much fresher and detailed in comparison to the old episodes.
