Bono and The Edge from U2 are to write music and lyrics for a Broadway musical based on comic book hero Spider-Man, according to film trade paper Variety.

    I know. I also heard this fresh from the NY theater grapvine and I thought exactly the same thing. Actually I also have a friend who has been asked to work as a musician on it. I wonder how long the show will run? Oh dear god. Shudder.
