Yesterday morning, my father died after being struck by a vehicle while cycling. I will not be back here for a while.
I loved him so very much and he was the very best man that I know.

Oh, Jason, I am so, so sorry. I lost my dad in December, very suddenly. My sympathy to you and your family. It doesn’t get better, you just cry less. I am sorry.

Hey Jason - I came here from Mike’s blog… I’m so sorry to hear about your dad. No matter how old you are and no matter how it happens, losing a parent is awful. I’ve been there. Take care of yourself.

Jason, Mike sent me here. I am so very sorry for your loss. My father-in-law died unexpectedly this past winter. It’s a hard thing to lose a parent, at any age. I will say a prayer for you and your family.
